camping hiking gear

The winter chill is beginning to set in, so it's time for me to get in one final camping trip before the weather gets too cold. The winters are pretty mild where I live in Arizona, but I love to camp in the northern woodsy areas of the state where the temperatures are much lower. I've already taken a couple of trips this fall, but for some reason I've been putting off buying some new camping hiking gear. I have the essentials, but there's always something that needs to be replaced each season, or some new piece of equipment that catches my eye. Each trip I've taken has reminded me that I need to go shopping for new camping hiking gear, and now it's almost too late! But any new camping hiking gear I buy this year can always be used next season too, since most hiking camping gear is very durable and lasts a long time. The articles that currently need replacing have definitely stood up to the test of time. For instance, I'd love to add to my first aid kit, since these items always come in handy and I like to be prepared for any emergency. A new tent is also on my list, but I think that particular piece of camping hiking gear might have to wait until next year.
