golf course, mountain bikingI have never been much of an outdoors man. I always limited my outdoor treks to the golf course. There is nothing better than getting up early on my day off and going on the golf course with a friend. The air is so nice and crisp and the sun is not too hot. We are not good golfers, really very bad ones, but, we have a great time walkiing the course and talking.
Lately the family has decided that we should go mountain biking together. I was a little skeptical but we went online to find camping hiking gear and of course some mountain bikes. We purchased some great things online and at a very good price. We also bought a portable GPS system. That made me feel better knowing we would not be getting lost. I must say it has all been a very pleasant experience and a new way to enjoy fresh air and being with my whole family. I think playing golf will always be my favorite but mountain biking has become a close second. I am now looking forward to many more trips.
