how to skateboard

I remember when my boys were learning how to skateboard. The spills and falls they took didn’t deter them from getting on that board again and again to nailing those jumps and ollies. At that time, learning how to skateboard seemed to be what every kid, especially boys were doing. Their friends would come over too with their boards and it would be a trial and error all day long. Soon enough, they all got pretty good on their skateboards and started building ramps and bought rails so they could go on to harder tricks. Learning how to skateboard brought all the friends together as a group to be dropped off in town and skateboard around. They would do their tricks and jumps on the sidewalks and in parking lots. Sometimes, they would get in trouble and were told they couldn’t skateboard in front of their stores. Our town finally built a skating park and that’s where everyone hung out. To this day, they will both take out their boards and skate when they have time.
