mountain biking 


My family enjoys mountain biking. The opportunity to go out on an invigorating ride causes great excitement in my household. We all have relatively new but well used mountain bikes. Every so often we will all gather around the computer and search for unfamiliar mountain biking trails.

We found just that a couple weekends ago. This trail was located pretty close to home in a mountain preserve area. We packed up the mountain bikes in the back of the truck and headed out for the day. Each of us had our own backpack full of water and snacks. The mountain biking trail proved to be challenging and beautiful as the spring flowers were just popping up all over the place.

The family is planning the next mountain biking trip already. I think it looks like we will head up north into the pines. There still is snow on the ground though, so we are up in the air about it at this point. We could do it with snow. We would just need to alter our mountain biking gear a bit. This just may happen for real!
