It was a beautiful week-end and I spent it taking advantage of some free outdoor entertainment and taking a bike ride. Mountain biking, family biking and the usual bikes seemed to be all on the streets and trails this week-end. I met some friends for a casual dinner one night and they sure looked sun kissed. They had been on the golf course all day long. The golf course was also very crowded and sometimes the waits between holes took awhile. They didn’t seem to mind, when the weather is picture perfect and you are outdoors doing a favorite activity, you take the crowds in stride. This is the time down here in the southwest that we do have extra tourists and the snow birds really are out and about. My friends at dinner are trying to get me out on the golf course, I would love to take up the sport, but I would be embarrassing. I made a date to go to the driving range first to see if I have any abilities at all. With all the people that golf down here, it should be an easy sport to pick-up, right?
