My brother had some good buddies drive over from California to visit him here in the southwest recently. He hadn’t seen them in a year and was looking forward to spending a few days with them. One of the first things they did together was search out a reasonably priced golf course and played 18 holes. He said that was mostly a comedy of errors that day as they all had pretty high scores that day. It was a windy day when they were on the golf course, so that is what they blamed their poor scoring on. The following day, his friends rented some mountain bikes, my brother has his own, and off they went on some popular mountain biking trails nearby. They truly had a good time going down the rocky terrain and brought back memories for them when they did this together as younger guys. Between these activities and just relaxing with their favorite brews, the time he said went pretty fast. It was back to work and real life again, but they all had a great, active visit.
