how to skateboard, mountain bikingI’m in a tight spot right now. I sold my car last week and have yet to buy a new one. My motorcycle has been getting me from point A to point B but I recently discovered one of the bolts holding a front engine mount in place stripped. This is not good. The vibration near my right leg is what set me off to this discovery. It is not smart to ride with three out of the four engine mounts. That is just asking for critical failure. The bolt is something I can find at a hardware store. There is one five miles down the road, which I found with a quick map search.

My only workable wheels right now is a skateboard. Mountain biking would be the easiest option but my roommate already took his out and about. How to skateboard five miles over bumpy ground keeps running through my head. Fingers crossed a friend can take me there. If not I’m going to learn how to skateboard long distances the hard way. Talk about a real bummer.
